Friday was blood donation day. A difficult donation this time; there was something up with the donation that was causing the blood to flow slowly this time. Usually a quick 10 minutes stretched out into 15 or so.

Saturday we went to see Dean Evans' new show Honeybuns as part of the Sketchbook festival. Dean does a lot of interesting mime work, and his new character Honeybuns bills himself (itself?) as the world's greatest mime. There's a lot of audience interaction, and Honeybuns is not afraid to make the audience feel a little uncomfortable. Very interesting work from Mr. Evans. Honeybuns runs weekends at the Flatiron Building in Wicker Park for the next couple of weekends.

Tonight at the Neo-Futurarium one of the ensemble members, Caitlin Stainken, performs her last show! If you're unfamiliar with Caitlin, here's a video of her play with Bilal Dardai, cognito/communicado. We'll be going to the show tonight so see her off and wish her well.
