Hey, so my new glasses finally came in yesterday. Now until I get used to them I got that "new glasses vision" thing going on. Which for me feels like everything is slightly underwater, but clear and in focus. It's very strange. I haven't bumped into anything yet, which is a good sign.

Along with the fancy-ass glasses came a fancy-ass glass case. I don't know why they keep getting them when I get new glasses; I never use them. They should have known right away when they saw me walk in that I don't use them. My old glasses were so dirty it probably looked like I had a cloud of mites floating in front of my eyes. I'll probably do exactly the same with this case that I've done with all the other glass cases in my lifetime: use it for a few days, then forget it and just put the glasses on the dresser, where I will fumble for them in the morning and end up smudging them all up with my greasy fingerprints. (I eat fried chicken in the bed.)

It should take me about a week to get used to the new glasses vision thing. Until that time, please don't take it personally if I stare at a point six inches to the right of your face; I'm just trying to focus. And please maintain a respectful distance, so I don't accidentally step on your foot.
